Prices given for sanding and finishing include the following.
Beginning work on the date and time agreed to. ( 8 o’clock doesn’t mean 8:30 )
Covering all entrances to the room(s) being worked in with plastic, to the best of our ability, in order to control dust; or by keeping doors to those areas closed. Objects such as countertops and shelving, that cannot otherwise be moved, will also be covered.
Sanding the floors 3 times, with different grits, to bare wood, in order to remove as many scratches or stains as possible without destroying the integrity of the flooring. This is the only method available to remove the maximum amount of wear and tear.
Cleaning the work area on a daily basis. If tools or machinery are left on site, they will be neatly set aside until the next work day. If young children are present, no harmful tools will be left behind.
A high solids, commercial grade, of either a water based or oil based polyurethane of your choosing will be applied.
Sanding and cleaning between coats of polyurethane will assure a smooth, pimple-free finish and proper adhesion.
Before the final coat is applied, all trim, window sills, or other horizontal surfaces will be either vacuumed or wiped down to remove dust after sanding.
Work will be completed on consecutive days at agreed to times.
The only workers on the job will be Scott Kamens and Dan Kamens. There is no reason to worry about others in your house.
There will be no smoking in your house, on your property, or anywhere else.
You don’t pay until the job is complete and you’re completely satisfied.
